Application Process

 

Below is an overview of what is required by ourselves in order to process your application, along with an outline of the questions you will be required to answer during the application process. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

Application Process/Requirements

 

  • Completed application form/s (these can be completed in paper format or online)
  • Photographic ID (Passport or Driving Licence)
  • 3 months’ bank statements (preferably with evidence of current rental payments)
  • 3 months’ wage slips
  • References from your current landlord and employer

We will undertake a credit search on all applicants

All our properties require one month’s rent, payable in advance

A security deposit (usually equivalent to 1 month’s rent) is required, payable in advance and will be held as governed by law with The Deposit Protection Service in their custodial scheme.

All our tenancies are Assured Shorthold Tenancies for a minimum of 6 months.

Application Questions

 

  • What is the combined monthly income of all persons who would reside at the property?
  • List names and DOB’s of all persons who would reside at the property?
  • Employment status? (Give details of current role and length of time in that role).
  • Do you receive housing benefit?
  • Do you have any pets?
  • Are you a smoker/non smoker?
  • If you applied to rent the property you be willing to carry out a free credit check?
  • Would you be able to provide a guarantor?
  • If you applied to rent the property would you be able to provide a reference from a previous landlord?
  • Are you looking to rent short term or longer term?
  • What is your reason for moving?
  • Would you be willing to meet the landlord at your current residence?
  • When would you be available to rent the property?
  • Please list your phone number and email address (for all perspective tenants)
